EGYPTIAN TEACHER STORY
* The story of an Egyptian teacher *
She always advised her students to live according to this verse of the Qur'an
وَعَجِلتُ لَِلَيَكَ رَبِّ لِتَرضَى "(Surah Ta Ha, 85)
Translation
(Lord, I hastened to come to You so that you may be pleased).
She used to say that I am very impressed with this verse whenever I hear the call to prayer and if I am busy with any work, I would remind myself of this verse and leave everything and stand up to pray. This verse reminds me and wakes me up at 2:00 pm when the tahajjud alarm goes off and I want to sleep more soundly.
The woman's husband was in the habit of giving her food instructions on the phone when he came home from work so that when he got home he would have hot food ready and he would eat and sleep. One day he ordered a buffalo meal on the phone (the grape leaves are stuffed with rice and then they are cooked over a low heat is a very time consuming dish). When the call to prayer was heard for so long, only three of them There were rolls left (which took a maximum of five minutes to fill) but she quit her job as usual and stood up to pray. The woman's husband kept calling her but got no answer when she When he reached home, he saw that his wife was prostrating and the food was not ready yet. He saw that there were only three rolls left to fill, so he became very angry and in the same world of anger he started scolding his wife. He said, "You could have finished your work and put the pot on the stove and prayed. How long does it take to make three rolls?", But there was no response from his wife when he came to her and saw that He died while prostrating.
Praise be to Allaah. If he had thought like us that no matter what, we would have finished our work first and then offered prayers, then he would have died in the kitchen. But a person dies in the same condition in which he spends his whole life and in the same condition he will be resurrected. Our Master Muhammad (peace be upon him) said that every person will be resurrected in the same condition in which he died
Let's make a promise today ...
